About

Hello! I am a Canadian American voice actor, narrator, and retired professor of history and comparative ethnic studies with thirty years of university teaching, public speaking, and audio production experience in the US and Canada.

With versatile range and rich characterization in fiction, I provide thoughtful and embodied storytelling that first and always serves your unique story and narrative arc. I am versed in multiple regional US and western Canadian idioms, and my narration in nonfiction has been described alternately as conversational, warm, relatable, inspirational, rich, and soothing.

I also provide professional editorial services and supports upon request, having served as a copyeditor for three academic and literary journals, to guarantee that your manuscript is Record-Ready at industry standards.

Your script is recorded with state-of-the-art hardware and software from Universal Audio, Teletronix, Sennheiser, and Studio One at my acoustically treated studio on the Pacific Coast of Canada, Coast Salish Territories. Your completed audio files are delivered to full specs in the format of your choice (wav, mp3, etc.) professionally, courteously, and timely.
